We helped Denver’s new NWSL team plant their flag with a cinematic launch that unveiled the name, crest, and the spirit of Summit FC in this multi-tiered launch campaign including a teaser piece, a launch video, and the crest reveal video.

Results
The launch video debuted at McGregor Square during the team’s live announcement and quickly gained traction online, earning press coverage and a surge of fan enthusiasm. The launch campaign cemented Summit FC’s arrival with energy, emotion, and a visual identity fans could rally behind from day one with four posts going live before the start of the season.
Process
Skylark tapped us to bring the identity of Denver’s new NWSL team to life through a brand launch film, teaser, and the team's crest reveal. We developed the script, crafted a visual storyboard, and cast local talent to root the piece in authenticity. Over three shoot days across Denver, including a lively session with 40+ passionate fans at the DNVR bar, we captured the energy of the city and the spirit of its soccer community. From urban landscapes to natural backdrops, every frame was designed to echo the rise and terrain of the mountains that run through Colorado.
Strategy
We set out to create a launch package that felt true to both the team’s ambition and the soul of Denver. Our creative concept for the launch video centered around movement, elevation, and momentum, mirroring the ascent of Summit FC and the peaks of Colorado. We wrote a hype-style script with a strong narrative thread, brought to life by a Denver-based voice actor. In post, we emphasized rapid cuts, stylistic transitions, and powerful visual motifs to match the pace and intensity of the launch moment, creating a short, enticing teaser piece. In tandem with the teaser and launch video, the crest reveal allowed our team to flex our graphic chops and make something bold to bring in the Summit FC shield in style!
